Oscar Michael delivered a compelling talk on “Bridging Creativity and Business,” where he discussed the often challenging but rewarding journey of turning creative passions into viable businesses. Meanwhile, Kamsi Eduzor, a seasoned game tester, shared her expertise on “Diversity in Games: Game Testing as a Career,” shedding light on the crucial role diversity plays in shaping the gaming landscape. Ivie Osuamkpe captivated the audience with her session on “Diversity in Games as a Character Designer,” emphasizing the need for varied and inclusive character representation. Sophia Abubakar added another layer to the discussion with her insights on “Diversity in Games: Learning Through Games,” exploring how games can be powerful educational tools. The entire “Diversity in Games” segment, skillfully moderated by Faith Olowonla, Head of Marketing at Divvicson Games, brought a profound sense of purpose to the expo, highlighting the industry’s role in driving change.

As attendees wandered through the expo, they were drawn to the interactive corners set up by game studios like Logic Dev Studio and Goondu Interactive. These studios didn’t just present their work—they invited the audience to play and test their games right there at the expo. It was an immersive experience, offering a glimpse into the future of gaming while allowing direct feedback from players.

The grand finale of the day was the highly anticipated ₦500,000 EAFC25 tournament, sponsored by GGArena. This gaming showdown was the perfect way to close out the expo, adding an exhilarating layer of competition to an already incredible day. PlayWithShocker emerged as the champion, walking away with the prize of ₦250,000 and the admiration of fellow gamers.
