Nexal Gaming Launches “Campus Clutch” –  A Nationwide University Esports Tour Powered by Engy Africa

Nexal Gaming Company (NGC) is proud to announce Campus Clutch, an ambitious Esports university tour across Nigeria, designed to activate student gaming communities and integrate Esports into university life. Set to run from June to November 2025, Campus Clutch will touch down at eight universities, uniting students through competitive gaming and faculty pride.

Campus Clutch is designed to make Esports a recognized extra-curricular activity across Nigerian universities. In collaboration with Student Union Governments (SUGs), Nexal Gaming will host faculty-vs-faculty tournaments where students compete not just for prizes, but for the glory of their faculties.

The competition features three popular solo game titles:

• Call of Duty Mobile (CODM)
  
• EA FC
  
• Chess
  

Nexal Gaming has planned for an ambitious prize pool of ₦1,200,000 per university, with ₦400,000 allocated to each game title, aiming for a total competition pool of ₦9,600,000 across all events. The project anticipates over 10,000 student participants nationwide, with a projected brand reach of over 200,000, further cementing the growing influence of Esports among Nigerian youth.
