Fortnite will participate in the roster for the inaugural Olympic Esports Series 2023 which will include a challenge by an International Shooting Sport Federation.
The Olympic Sports Series is a virtually simulated esport competition created by the International Olympic Committee in partnership with International Federations and game publishers.
The esports series will take place in the first-ever esports week happening from the 22nd of June to the 25th of the same month in Singapore. The competition started in March when players were invited to take part in the qualifiers across different games.

Sports shooting has been listed among the games that will be featured in the inaugural Olympic Esports series 2023 happening live in the finals.
Twelve players from the Fortnite Champion Series will be invited to participate in the event featuring the unique International Shooting Sport Federation Island developed in Fortnite to mirror the sport shooting competition. These players will be tested based on how accurately they can aim for targets just like how it’s done in physical sport shooters competitions.
Games that would be featured alongside the sport shooting are Tic Tac Bow, WBSC eBaseballâ„¢: Power Pros, Chess.com, Zwift, Just Dance, Gran Turismo 7, Virtual Regatta, Virtual Taekwondo, and Tennis Clash
Tickets for the game happening live in Singapore are now on sale at about $7.50 per ticket with three-day passes selling at $15 per ticket. The event will also be streamed live for those that wont be physically present on the Olympic website and social channels.
