Great news for University students in Africa as they now have the opportunity to learn more about the Esports industry, have access to internship opportunities, and clinch course certificates.

Cxmmunity Media, a media tech company launched in 2020 with a focus on gaming in partnership with the Nexal Gaming Community has presented university undergraduates with this unique opportunity in the form of a student program. The company is popular for its League For Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) where it provides funding and resources to revolutionize the experience for underfunded and underserved students in the gaming industry.

The student program is organized to give students exposure to the Esports industry and good standing in the Esports space. Admitted students will go through a series of monthly programs after which they will be awarded certifications based on their performance.

The top four students at the end of each month will also be given internship roles. The program will take place alongside various activities, including but not limited to debate nights and inter-school competitions.

Undergrads with a keen interest in the Esports industry are encouraged to take up this opportunity by registering here, you can also join Cxmmunity Media’s WhatsApp group for more information.
