10n8e NPL season 8 Finale: Neon Rising Rises Above Other Competitors in 2 million Naira Tournament

Season 8 of the Nigerian Professional League was a great event. The event saw the championship change hands from the dominant team to the Rising team.

10n8e, with experience in hosting different series of tournaments including the Deca Cup, have now hosted a PUBG Mobile tournament in Africa for 8 seasons straight. No other tournament organiser can boast of such a accomplishment.

NPL Final

Last year, we saw the champions go back to back as the first ever team to do such a thing in the NPL tournament. 1011, gave all their might and dominated the whole year from NPL to the Campus Fest.

Rising from the ground to the status of the champions is the Neon Rising. They kept their heads up and chased exactly what they wanted. They have carried the flag of Nigeria in the International Esports Federation qualifiers that were held in Africa. Coming back now to fight for the grand prize.

They had their huddles, teams like Unsullied Army, Althegaming, 3 Crowns Esports, were coming to take the crown from 1011. And like a sun in the sky, Neon Rising left everyone staring at their shining trophy. In an intense final, where 6 games had to be played and consistency is key. A little slip up can mean a title race is over, Neon kept their heads up.

With a Star prize of 1 million Naira, Neon Rising walks home with their heads high above all others. They have fought their way up to the grand finals and they finished it in style. That is a feat worth celebrating.
