NPLS8 grand final is the end of a grind that started back in March with the Harmattan Split. Dozens of teams stepped up, hungry to prove themselves. Weeks turned into months, battles turned into rivalries, and slowly the field was cut down. Now, only 16 teams remain, the ones tough enough, sharp enough, and determined enough to survive the journey. Each of them walks into the finals carrying more than just their own dreams, they carry the pride of their state, their fans, and every ounce of effort it took to get here.

• Harmattan Split (March – May): The opening leg of the season saw fierce competition as new challengers tried to stake their claim. • Rain Split (May – July): By the time the rainy season arrived, the battles only intensified. Teams had adjusted their strategies, refined their rosters, and grown hungrier for the big stage. The Rain Split tested endurance as much as skill, with long weeks of competition wearing down even the most experienced squads.

Now, after two demanding splits, only the strongest remain. Every finalist standing today has walked through fire to earn their place in the Grand Finals. And then there’s Athlegame Esports (Akwa Ibom) , the people’s choice. Voted in by the fans, they carry not just their own ambition, but the voice of the community that wanted them on this stage.
