A growing list of sponsors has signed on for the event. Enugu-based game studio Goondu Games joins as Gold Sponsor and Exhibitor, giving attendees the chance to playtest its title, Beyond Service, on-site at SEBGW.
Afropanda eSports and itel Nigeria are also coming on as Gold Sponsor and Exhibitor. As part of the partnership, itel will give out brand new smartphones to winners of the E-football tournament, with the competition itself powered by Afropanda eSports.
On the bronze tier, Jumpa, a platform organizers describe as making crypto "as easy as chatting," letting users send, save, and swap in one chat joins as Bronze Sponsor and Exhibitor. Yelobyte Studios, a gaming studio that also runs the Enugu Game Dev & Creative community, has signed on in the same capacity.
By combining blockchain, hackathons, and competitive e-football under one roof, SEBGW positions itself as a rare cross-industry gathering for Southeast Nigeria's tech and gaming ecosystems. With sponsor-backed prizes on the line including hardware from itel and cash bounties across multiple categories, organizers are pushing builders, creators, and gamers alike to register ahead of the September 16 kickoff.
