Ridima is not new to tournament organisation. Late last year, they hosted one of the biggest PUBG Mobile tournaments for 2024. They have also partnered with brands that have created land-shaking tournaments
One of these was the Itel City tour, which had a whopping 4 million Naira tournament. The game title was Free Fire and it was the biggest Free Fire event yet, in Nigeria as a whole. This great feat has pushed Ridima to partner with Nexal Gaming on their next project.
Ridima has partnered with Nexal Gaming to conquer the most played esports game for 3 years consecutively in Nigeria according to Nexal Gaming’s reports. This game title is one that Ridima is yet to conquer and they have their eyes set on it.
Ridima 5v5
With a new format and uniqueness. A format that answers the call to chaos in the most chaotic map in Call of Duty. If “peace was never an option” was a map, shipment would be it. And this same map is where our team shipment tournament will be held.
In addition to the chaos this tournament promises, the best teams will receive a lump sum of 1 million Naira. The best teams, from the first to the eighth best, will receive cash prizes.
Objective of Ridima 5v5
There are so many competitions that are aimed at the professional players, with rules and regulations that require careful planning, strategy and coaching of players over time.
Ridima aims to take off this burden from players and in turn encourage casual gamers, who would not be in a position to train their strategy or get coached.
The 5v5 shipment leverages on the fact that everyone is accustomed to shipment and it is easier to play for everyone. Shipment is also a fast-paced map on Call of duty, that strategy doesn’t take centre stage, rather your gun skills come into play.
