Onward Esports Announces ₦5 Million Prize Pool for Series 3 CODM Rankings

Onward Esports has officially revealed the event calendar for its highly anticipated OGR General Rankings tournament. Set to run across mid-2026, the competitive campaign features Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) and Free Fire, boasting a total collective prize pool of ₦5,000,000. Aspiring champions can register via the organization’s official Discord link (discord.gg/onwardgaming) to secure their spot on the grand stage.
CODM General Rankings: The Series 3 Showdown
The cornerstone of the event focuses on the Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) General Rankings, featuring the largest portion of the stakes, to be awarded at the end of Series 3. The tournament spans from June 19th to July 5th, 2026, structured into specific tier-based schedules to ensure balanced, high-octane competitive play.
Matches will take place nightly, with rooms opening strictly at 7:50 pm and concluding by 9:30 pm. The tier breakdown is scheduled as follows:
- Tiers 1 & 2: June 1st – June 5th, 2026
- Tiers 5 & 6: June 23rd – June 26th, 2026
- Tiers 3 & 4: June 27th – June 30th, 2026
- Tiers 7 & 8: July 1st – July 5th, 2026
Inclusive Gaming: Mixed and Female CODM Brackets
Promoting diversity within the regional esports landscape, Onward Esports has introduced dedicated brackets for both Mixed and Female divisions. Each tier features a standalone ₦1,000,000 prize pool allocation.
Registration for both divisions runs concurrently from 1st May to 4th July, 2026. The tournament stages will broadcast live from 9:40 pm to 10:50 pm on their respective dates:
- Mixed CODM Rankings: The main event action kicks off from 7th July to 11th July, 2026.
- Female CODM Rankings: The elite female competitive scene takes the spotlight from 13th July to 17th July, 2026.
Free Fire Division: Female Rankings on the Horizon
Rounding out the monumental event is the Female Free Fire Rankings, featuring a ₦1,500,000 prize pool broken down into ₦500,000 payouts for every competitive arc. While daily match times are locked in for 7:50 pm – 9:30 pm, official registration and event dates are currently TBA (To Be Announced).
