Previous Edition

S7 was up against the rising stars of Rage gaming and the very consistent NATO gaming in the 2024 edition of Carry1st cup. The 3 made it to the finals and tugged it out. The loser’s bracket run from S7 and a cling on the title was praiseworthy.

In the grand finale of the Carry1st cup, S7 made it out of the group stage only barely. Going Aura for Aura with the best team in Ghana. With all the work they put in, their victory was not crowned, they couldn’t make a podium finish. This year, S7 will want to see that it changes. As they will be having a home advantage.

Nigeria Regional finals

The competition was fierce, with teams battling for the coveted chance to represent Nigeria on the continental stage. The final showdown saw S7 face off against Eclipse Gaming, a team that had proven to be a formidable contender throughout the tournament.

The two teams had previously met in the Winners Bracket, where S7 narrowly edged out Eclipse Gaming in a tense match. After that defeat, Eclipse Gaming showcased their tenacity by dropping to the Losers Bracket and delivering a flawless 3-0 victory against Strix to earn their rematch in the grand finals.

With a map advantage coming into the finals, S7 was determined to close out the series. However, Eclipse Gaming refused to back down, pushing the champions to their limits in a nail-biting, seven-map series.

In the end, S7’s experience and strategic prowess shone through, allowing them to secure a hard-fought 4-3 victory and etch their name in the history of the Carry1st Cup once again.

This victory is particularly significant for S7, as it grants them the incredible opportunity to represent Africa in the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship.
