Gamr Africa began the Gamr Challengers Cup 2022 for PUBG and CODM on the 7th of February 2022 with 48teams and over 300 players participating in this year’s edition. Sixteen teams each in a group of four for PUBG mobile and four teams each in eight groups labelled A-H for CODM featuring Outlaws, Unsullied army, Cyclone Gaming, Zero Remorse, Dynasty among others and will go on till the 26th of February 2022.
The PUBG mobile teams under each group will compete in a battle royale team format to get points which would be used to rank them and determine their progress through the competition
The CODM teams will also be grouped and will compete in a round-robin system and the top teams make it out of the elimination stages.
All levels of teams are allowed to compete in GCC and the top 4 teams from both titles qualify for the Afro Elite League which has a higher prize pool and the best teams. While the remaining teams who didn’t make the top 4 would compete in the WAZOBIA league.
The prize pool for both CODM and PUBG mobile is set at $750
