The Esports Federation of Nigeria (EFN) has officially unveiled the nation's representatives for the Global Esports Games, Los Angeles 2026 African Regional Qualifiers. Dubbed the "Eagles," Team Nigeria will compete across a wide spread of title categories, fielding a mix of seasoned veterans and formidable new talent as they push for tickets to the main stage in Los Angeles.

Nigeria's esports footprint continues to expand and this national lineup reflects that depth, spanning team-based strategy titles, sports simulations and high-speed racing.

The women's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang division leads the charge with a stacked seven-player squad: Jani, Himari, Cammy, Janine, Khia, Jiro, and Kassandra bring firepower, flexibility, and tactical depth to the frontline. On the open side, Nero, Kamilevi, Tata, Superpanda, Kilr Aizen, Antipipe and Superhatred form an explosive unit built to dictate tempo against the continent's top rivals.

In NBA2K, Reps Michael, Daniel, Zainab, and Michael are set to showcase seamless hardwood execution, precision shooting and sharp defensive play on the virtual court. Rocket League sees the high-flying trio of Lordpat, LTNG and Acuity pilot Nigeria's campaign, combining aerial mechanics with tight rotational play in vehicular soccer.

Clash Royale solos are locked in as well: Star leads the open division, while Omotee steps up as Nigeria's representative in the Women's category. In the virtual football arena, Kami carries the open division for eFootball, with Stefkaly anchoring the Women's category through composure and sharp pitch vision. Rounding out the roster, speed demon Femolevsky takes the wheel in iRacing, representing the green-and-white through high-precision sim racing across tight apexes and technical tracks.

The qualifiers carry global backing from the Global Esports Federation and media partners including the Los Angeles Times, raising the profile of the African qualifying stage considerably.
