Nigeria Pro Club sets to host her first FC 25 tournament, THE CLUB RIVALS. Ever since the release of the new EAFC game, players have been playing the game and leaving their reviews. Beyond all the reviews, Nigeria Pro Club will be hosting the Club Rivals.
The previous session of the Nigerian Pro Club League was entertaining, kept fans off their seats so many times. History was made also, as Talker FC won the League there first ever time in the League. Trumping the mighty Get Clapped Cuz. It was a tough fight till the end.
Get Clapped Cuz lost their edge when they had their first defeat. Talker FC on the other hand had an unbeaten run with only one draw against Get Clapped Cuz.
Get Clapped Cuz got a pseudo compensation when they won the “FA cup” of the League, which is the Cade Esports Cup. It may or may not be the best compensation, but on their way to victory, they beat Talker FC, only by a slight margin.
About The Club Rivals
The new cup introduced by the Nigeria Pro Clubs is the Club Rivals which follows a unique format. The format is that of the UEFA champion’s league new format. Nigeria Pro Clubs are moving with the time, as you can tell.
The tournament starts on the 11th of November, with a registration of 20,000 Naira per team that wants to participate.
The Format
The format is the new UEFA format. The top 4 teams from last season’s pro club’s league, which are, Talker FC, Get Clapped Cuz, Effortless FC and Nameless chaos, will all have their spot in the top of each group. Other teams will be filled accordingly. Interestingly, the draws will be done live, for transparency and also to get the feel of a proper event.
Moving to the next stage, the top 8 will automatically go to the round of 16, leaving those between 9 to 24 to tug it out in a two legged playoff. This is the second chance that can only be handed to those between this range.
Teams below 25th position will be automatically eliminated from the tournament. The tournament will be entertaining as always, exhilarating and offering the best of actions from the best of teams.
Registration closes soon and preseason starts by 11th of November. Note that this doesn’t affect the Pro Clubs League as that will start January 2025.
