In a thrilling conclusion to the Carry1st Cup, B3AR clan emerged as the undisputed champions, dominating the tournament and securing their spot to represent Africa at the upcoming Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) World Championship. The grand final, held on Nigerian soil, marked a historic moment for the region’s burgeoning esports scene.

In a $15,000 prize pool, the action was stacked and the atmosphere was beyond tense, for the players. The audience were more than delighted with the situation in front of them.
From the get go, B3AR Clan went against the Nigerian giant in the first match, it was a mismatch as B3AR tore through Sierra 7 of Nigeria. B3AR Esports showcased their superiority, displaying a level of skill and coordination that few could match. Their journey to the top was nothing short of spectacular, culminating in a dominant performance against their final opponents.

Paradox (PDX), the only team that got a map off B3AR throughout the tournament, twice. First time was in their Round 2 face off and then when they met at the grand finals. In a show of force, B3AR Clan only dropped two maps throughout the entire tournament, highlighting their consistent excellence and strategic prowess. Their victory solidifies them as one of the best teams the continent has to offer.

The tournament also celebrated the impressive performance of two Nigerian teams who secured spots in the top four. Despite a last-minute qualification, Eclipse Gaming battled fiercely to claim a commendable third place.
They were joined by fan favorites and two-time national champions, Sierra 7, who finished in fourth place. Sierra 7’s journey was particularly notable, as they showcased their enduring skill against a field of top-tier African teams, including Carry1st Cup veterans like Aura and themselves.
Eclipse gaming had a good run in the winners bracket, going up against teams like Delta Esports from Kenya and then their Ghanaian brothers, Aura 233. They were smooth sailing until they met the eventual winners.

Sierra 7, went on a winning spree after losing to B3AR, adding salt to the wounds of Aura and sending them home. The winning streak was eventually ended by PDX, who had to win to go back to the winner’s bracket to face off with B3AR.

The atmosphere at the finals was electric. The event was not just a competition but a celebration of the growth of African esports. Fans filled the venue, their energy and enthusiasm palpable with every play.
The presence of popular content creators like Malay, Kingnee, Kingplays, and Mayveez further elevated the event, bringing the excitement of the live competition to a wider audience.
As B3AR Esports prepares to take on the world, they carry the hopes of an entire continent. Their victory is a testament to their hard work and talent. We wish B3AR Esports the best of luck in the CODM World Championship and hope they can bring the title home to Africa.
