The recently concluded Gamr X Tournament tagged “Brave For X” was an exceptional event for those who attended and participated. It was fun filled and very thrilling as participants and enthusiasts gathered from over 20 countries to witness the event.

The MK11 and FIFA 23 tournaments were won by exceptional players from SOLO Esport in Senegal, Hamza, and Dexxjunior who put on an incredible performance at the event; Dexxjunior would also be visiting Gamers8 Esports in Saudi Arabia alongside cash prizes.

Chuks from EYTGAMING won the Street Fighter 6 tournament with outstanding skills. The Afro Esports team took the competition to another level and emerged champions of the PUBG Mobile tournament, SIERRA 7 came on top as the winners of the Call Of Duty Mobile tournament and Top Rated 2 won the Free Fire contest after a fierce battle.

Top players from around Africa were present to feel the heat and give some back, the event also presented awards to industry leaders and teams who have been committed to taking Esports in Nigeria and Africa to another level, including the late Lagos Esports community manager popularly known as Robber.

The event also featured a FIFA23 face-off between sensational music artists from Mavin Records; Ladipoe and Crayon.

Gamr X: Brave for X was sponsored by top brands in Africa including First Bank, Pepsi, Infinix, Carry1st, LG, Cxmmunity Media, and TikTok, including the Lagos State government among others and It was indeed spectacular with different people winning amazing prizes from these sponsors.
