On Saturday, July 12th, the University of Port Harcourt will become the latest battleground for one of Nigeria’s most exciting student gaming events; Campus Gamefest, powered by 10N8E.
Following successful stops in Ibadan and Abuja, Gamefest arrives at Uniport with a packed two-day experience. From kit pickup on Friday evening, to Saturday morning aerobics and the main gaming event later in the day.
What to Expect at Gamefest Uniport

The energy kicks off a day earlier on Friday, July 11th, with kit pickup at 4pm, giving players and registered participants a chance to gear up and connect before game day.
Then, on Saturday, July 12th, the real action begins:
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: The day opens with a campus-wide aerobic fitness session, blending health and hype to set the tone.
- 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM: The main event begins
From console to mobile, each game has been carefully selected based on student interests and 10N8E’s signature commitment to championing accessible esports. With over 166 competition slots available, students will battle it out to become REP YOUR CAMPUS champions, earning not just recognition but permanent digital trophies recorded on the 10N8E platform.
10N8E GP Token system
While winners walk away with digital accolades, every participant earns rewards through the 10N8E GP Token system. These tokens can be redeemed for real products from brands like Monster and Carbon making participation as valuable as victory.
The goal is simple; grow the size and skill of Nigeria’s gaming community by giving players visibility, experience, and a reason to keep showing up.
